At first the first to appear is the philosophy and special sciences are part ofphilosophy. So it is said that philosophy is the mother or the mother of all sciences(scientiarum mater). Because the material object of a general nature that is the whole philosophy of reality, in terms of science requires a special object. This causes the separation of science from philosophy.
Although the development of each separate science from philosophy, this does notmean the relationship of philosophy to the special sciences to be disconnected.With the specificity characteristic of every science, it raises the firm boundariesbetween their respective sciences. In other words $3Cspan class="hps">there is nofield of knowledge to link the separate sciences. This is where the philosophy oftrying to integrate the respective sciences. The task of philosophy is to overcomespecialization and formulate a view of life which is based on extensiveexperience of humanity.
There is a reciprocal relationship between science and the philosophy. Manyphilosophical problems that require scientific knowledge base on if the discussionis not to say superficial and wrong. Science today can provide large amounts ofmaterial philosophy of the facts is essential for the development of philosophicalideas of the right so that in line with scientific knowledge (Siswomihardjo, 2003).
In subsequent developments, philosophy is not only regarded as the parent and the source of knowledge, but it is part of science itself, which also have specialties. Inthis transitional stage does not cover the whole of philosophy, but has become asector. Examples of religious philosophy, legal philosophy, and philosophy of science is part of the development of philosophy that has become a sectoral andfragmented in a particular field. In this context the study of philosophy and scienceas very relevant for their review and didalami.
